Pippa couldn’t be easier to use. Simply create an account and register each Pippa either on a computer or with the Pippa smart phone app

Add the phone numbers you want alerting to a hazard – this could be the residents mobile or landline, plus the number of the warden or site manager

Stick a Pippa above each stove. Pippa uses extra high strength adhesive pads that will stay attached for life, so no tools, no wiring, no drilling and no mess. Any of your staff can fit it and the user doesn’t need Wi-Fi or any other hub or connectivity

Once it’s fixed in place, you’re done. Pippa is now watching over the cookier, and residents will be warned with a clear spoken alert ‘Warning, stove left on’ and an alarm if there is a hazard

Each unit comes ready to go with 2 x AA batteries, giving you up to a year of use, and you’ll get a warning to the app when they need changing

Log on to your Pippa Pro dashboard to get risk warnings for all your residents. The Pippa Pro dashboard identifies which of your residents are high risk - who is leaving the stove on, who responds slowly to alarms? It also lets you check for signs of cognitive decline - are residents cooking at night or cooking less? You can then identify who is becoming a danger to themselves and the property.

Your account will give you access to the Pippa data dashboard. This gives you the data you need to easily monitor which residents are at risk – who is leaving the stove on, who is slow to respond to alarms. It also shows up other behaviours that may be concerning – cooking during the night which can be an indication of dementia, or stopping cooking altogether which can indicate depression
Your Pippa dashboard also lets you know if someone is doing dangerous things like deep frying regularly, or leaving food cooking on the stove unattended for long periods over time
This gives you valuable insights of risky behaviours that are of broad benefit to families and care professionals alike and help you to intervene where necessary to prevent further problems occurring
